Giebułtów - Single Family House

The subject of this design was “house in the rural landscape”, a detached house located on the chosen plot in one of Krakow’s “belt” villages. This plot is located in Giebułtów village, the plot has neighbouring houses yet is still surrounded by greenery and also offers uninterrupted views onto the forest due to the sloped terrain. 

This design is assumed to be for inhabitants and their needs, therefore this house is designed for a family of five: two parents, a teenager and two younger children, who wanted to live further from the city in order for a more comfortable, more peaceful life for their children in this rural area. The needs of the family: ability to work from home for both parents, a garden area for the whole family, a garage for two cars as they commute this way.
